Terms of Use — Bright Future Foundation

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bright Future Foundation platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, campaign organizers, and donors.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, start a campaign, or make a donation on Bright Future Foundation. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration
Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account
Not share your account credentials with any third party

Bright Future Foundation reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Campaign Rules

All campaigns created on Bright Future Foundation must comply with our community guidelines. By creating a campaign, you agree that:

All information provided is truthful, accurate, and not misleading
You have the legal right to raise funds for the stated purpose
Funds raised will be used solely for the purpose described in the campaign
You will provide updates to donors as the campaign progresses
Your campaign does not violate any applicable laws or regulations

Prohibited campaigns include, but are not limited to: campaigns promoting illegal activities, hate speech, violence, discrimination, or fraudulent purposes. Bright Future Foundation reserves the right to remove any campaign that violates these rules without prior notice.

5. Donations

All donations made through Bright Future Foundation are voluntary contributions to campaign organizers. By donating, you acknowledge that:

Donations are generally non-refundable once processed
Bright Future Foundation is not responsible for how organizers use the funds raised
We do not guarantee that any campaign will reach its fundraising goal
Donations do not constitute charitable contributions for tax purposes unless the campaign is run by a registered nonprofit

In cases of confirmed fraud, Bright Future Foundation may issue refunds at its sole discretion. If you believe a campaign is fraudulent, please contact us immediately.

6. Prohibited Conduct

When using Bright Future Foundation, you agree not to:

Create false or misleading campaigns or accounts
Harass, threaten, or harm other users
Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates intellectual property rights
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Platform
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform's operation

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Bright Future Foundation Platform — including logos, text, graphics, and software — is the property of Bright Future Foundation and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

By submitting content (campaign descriptions, photos, etc.) to the Platform, you grant Bright Future Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bright Future Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, or reputation.

Bright Future Foundation acts as a platform intermediary and is not responsible for the actions, conduct, or representations of campaign organizers or donors.

9. Termination

Bright Future Foundation reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

11. Changes to These Terms

Bright Future Foundation reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
